There we were, exhausted after thirty hours on and off
planes, unable to get into our accommodation for another two/three hours, and
quite hungry. What sight we must have been.
Oh well. That’s just part of the experience.
Let me tell you some things about the Italians…
They drive on the wrong side of the road
In tiny cars
Down tiny streets
ok, so maybe this wasn't a street. close enough. |
They have teeny, weeny coffee cups
They have the world’s biggest pizza plates
They are REALLY good painters
And sculptures
Piazza Navona, just down the street |

Rosie
you are so funny Brid...That is a great post hon..
How *very* neat that you got to go to Rome! Susannah will especially be jealous, hehe! ;) I love the tiny roads, though I don't think I would love driving on them :) And I think I would eat gelato every day if I went to Italy :D
Chantelle, Rosie, and Leanne Thanks! these were the (some) of the best photos I took!!
and Jessica,
I hope Susannah isn't too jealous! thankfully we didn't have a car in Rome or Paris! and yes - you would have to eat gelato every day - we did!
Love Sararose xox
